Check out the new Gracie Mae yoga line for kids at Padme Yoga Center located in East Sacramento, across from the Food Co-op. I have been practicing yoga for a couple of years now and I love how strong I have become and how peaceful it makes me feel. Sophie Levy, the owner of Padme, was my first yoga instructor and my favorite. When Andrew and I were crazed with two young toddlers and unable to make it to scheduled studio classes, Sophie did private instruction at our home. Lily and Annabel would stand at the door in their princess costumes at 8:00 a.m. to watch. As a result, we are raising two young yogis. Yay! Once Sophie found out that I was doing children’s clothes she invited me to collaborate with her on a line of Kids’ yoga clothes to sell at the studio. The line includes wide leg, knit yoga pants for girls and boys, as well as tshirts, tanks and onesies. Sizes range from 3 months to 6 years, up to 12 years on tanks and tshirts – all with yoga themed appliqués (think frog pose and downward dog). The studio opened earlier this month and it’s fabulous. Congratulations Sophie!
