I just met with an amazing decorater, Tammy Issac, who is going to help me make my home a little more functional and stylish with a little more than a can of spray paint and some creative thinking. She said we would not throw out a single piece of furniture until we absolutely had to. I love that type of thinking. Repurpose and reuse. This fall I am going to apply that same thinking to my children’s clothing line. I am so thrilled with the new vintage collection that I am going to bring in some gorgeous wool, velvet, and corduroy fabrics and apply them all to my favorite designs and voila, the most adorable fall collection yet!

FALL SILK FLORAL

Lately I have been inspired by all of the gorgeous floral silk fabrics I am seeing in magazines for the upcoming season. This fabric seems like the perfect addition to the Gracie Mae Kids vintage line. I’m thinking a silk floral version of the vintage skirt paired with a crisp white blouse and a cardigan, a slik floral version of the Georgia party dress, or maybe even the Caroline party dress with the puffy short sleeves.
